YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
Centre for Entrepreneurship, a business support institution was founded in March 1997 as a non-profit organization. Initiated by distinguished professors from the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University in Osijek and accomplished entrepreneurs from the Osijek-Baranja County, the center has evolved into a pivotal force in fostering entrepreneurial development.
Our operations are structured around two key departments: the Entrepreneurial Support Department and the EU Projects and International Cooperation Department. Comprising a team of six experienced professionals, each possessing expertise in diverse fields, we collectively drive the mission of facilitating visionary initiatives. At the Entrepreneurship Center, we are dedicated to the serious pursuit of excellence.
ENTREPRENEURIAL SUPPORT DEPARTMENT
Within the Entrepreneurial Support Department, our focus is on the comprehensive business support. Our commitment extends to providing informative resources, strategic counseling, educational programs, mentorship initiatives, and fostering a robust networking environment for entrepreneurs and strategic thinkers.
EU PROJECTS & INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION DEPARTMENT
In the EU Projects and International Cooperation Department, we specialize in the development, initiation and implementation of impactful projects. From the inception of ideas to the intricacies of EU project applications, our team is dedicated to providing thorough evaluation and consulting services. Our overarching objective is to enhance and fortify local and regional development through strategic international collaborations.
Centre for Entrepreneurship provides training, mentoring, networking, innovation support, policy inputs, strategy formulation, and financing assistance to hundreds of businesses across the region. Over the years, we have developed a deep understanding of the needs of SMEs and entrepreneurs, as well as the challenges they face in areas like innovating, growing and accessing financing which is why our focus is to adeptly assist businesses in capacity building, developing new products/services, formulating strategies, connecting with partners, and navigating policy frameworks.
Operationally, we a skilled multidisciplinary team including professionals experienced in entrepreneurship support, training, education, mentoring, analytics and project implementation and we posses a robust regional network of partners across government, academia and industry. CFE’s team brings diverse specialized skills in coaching startups, conducting market research, managing projects, designing localized solutions, and promoting collaboration. Our regional immersion enables customization to local contexts.
Over the years, Centre for Entrepreneurship has undertaken an extensive array of projects related to bolstering capacities, supporting SMEs, shaping national and regional policies and contributing to the formulation of entrepreneurship development strategies. This remarkable expertise and experience in collaborating with entrepreneurs have led to the Center for Entrepreneurship being engaged as a consultant on more than 30 projects, catering to a diverse range of beneficiaries such as entrepreneurs, schools, public institutions, research organizations, and universities. While the topics covered in these projects may vary, they all share a common thread: the promotion of capacity building and the cultivation of an entrepreneurial mindset and skill set.
